Welcome To Apple Homes
Apple Home Builders was first registered by local entrepreneur John Day with Tarion Home Warranty in June 2002.
Day had success in the automotive business but always wanted to build custom homes. He learned the trade by
working closely with a friend in the business first and then began developing his own company.
He approached new home construction with a quality first attitude and takes a hand from beginning to
end - handing his clients the keys of each new home. The first houses were built in Tavistock.
He soon built a following as a quality builder.
The company expanded to include Dave Kubassek in 2005. Kubassek had already developed a reputation for
quality within the construction business as owner of Priority Mechanical.
In 2008 Apple Home Builders was awarded the Tarion Award of Excellence in Ontario in the small volume category. In 2010 lots were purchased in Plattsville and Peter Lass, a local Realtor, joined as a partner. All three men now have their real estate license and are able to provide ethical, high quality service to their clients - not only with the purchase of their Apple Home but in the sale of their other properties.
Apple Home Builders remains a hands-on business with the three partners taking pride in being able to build your home the way you want. They believe that everyone deserves quality and attention to detail when buying a home - usually the largest investment of their life.
